GR8 Thoughts and Musings

I have the privilege of working a very unique & fulfilling job as a part of an amazing organization.
I get to share my days with some of the best people on the planet!

Here we are, mostly still in costume from our Celebration of the decades since People to People has been changing lives.
(The dream was launched by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in the White House in 1956) We have fun & change lives every day!
This picture is from a gathering of about 100 Area Directors from around the country.
All but two of my amazing Area Directors from the ‘Coffee Kingdom’ were able to attend.
I love all of you and am proud to work with you!

LAX isn’t where you want to be for 7 hours on the 4th of July weekend, but I’m thankful to be home

Flew home with the Michigan Delegation the next day

West Texas delegation heads to home stays & I head to join Arkansas delegation at the GR8 Barrier Reef.
It has been a true joy to get to know these young Ambassadors! They will do well as they take their place in the world, carrying on President Eisenhower’s mission of Peace Through Understanding

Of course we learned our Corc Dundee skills in the outback

We were taught how to understand and practice some of them





Learned how to make paints, do rock art & paint ourselves
